CleanWebTools is designed so that many tool inputs are processed locally in your browser. We do not require an account to use the core tools.

Local tool input

For tools marked as local, the text, token, image, file, or Markdown you provide is processed on your device for the requested conversion, decoding, formatting, or generation. CleanWebTools does not need to upload that tool input to a server to perform the tool action.

Analytics

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how pages are used and to improve the tools. Clarity may collect page-level technical data such as browser type, device type, approximate region, page views, referrer, and anonymized interaction data according to Microsoft's privacy policy. This is separate from the tool input you paste or select, which is processed on your device.

Cookies and advertising

CleanWebTools uses cookies or similar technologies for analytics and fraud prevention. We are preparing to serve ads through Google AdSense; if and when ads are enabled, AdSense may use cookies to show and measure ads, and in regions where consent is required we will request and store your consent choices before serving personalized ads. This policy will be updated when ad serving becomes active.

What not to paste

Even when a tool runs locally, you should avoid pasting production secrets, live access tokens, private keys, passwords, customer records, or confidential files unless you are sure the page and browser environment are appropriate for that data.
